Saving wood floors is one of the perks of using a restoration company that has years of experience in the industry.

In order to save wood floors we lay down mats that can extract water through the grooves of the floor. After a burst pipe the water can get underneath the wood through the slats. Over time the bottom side of the wood will swell forcing the top of the wood to cup and move out of place.

The water underneath the wood is more important to have removed because the surface of the wood will dry out faster.
